From the supplier: A bill that completely revises Colorado insurance captive law with the aim of attracting more captives and risk retention groups has passed the House and is expected to be enacted into law and signed by Gov Roy Romer. The bill would allow captives to write coverage for employee benefits for parent and affiliated corporations, and incorporates a new, more liberal regulatory philosophy. The law, which has the support of Colorado Insurance Commissioner Jack Ehnes, would give the commissioner more latitude in licensing captives
