From the supplier: Rep. Dick Armey, majority leader in the House of Representatives, has introduced a bill that would allow motorists to buy no-fault auto insurance. Under the legislation, one type of policy would prevent motorists from suing or being sued for non-economic damages, while another type would maintain tort rights. Armey says the congressional Joint Economic Committee has found that auto insurance choice could save motorists $45 billion annually. Legislation similar to Armey's is under consideration in the Senate.
